The Denton Branch was established by former Ben E. Keith President, Troy LaGrone. Troy was the Assistant General Manager in Dallas at the time but was assigned as the Denton Branch Manager once Denton County went wet. Business was so good in Denton the company has had to remodel the warehouse twice to account for an increase in sales volume. (Troy LaGrone never built a warehouse too small after.) This branch services Denton, Cooke, Montague, Wise, Wichita, Archer, Clay, Wilbarger, Jack, Young, and Baylor Counties, and delivers products to 1,200 accounts and employs 132 people.
