JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Equipment Refurb Specialist will refurbish, and repair commercial beverage and chemical equipment associated with supports the sales and operational needs for Ben E. Keith.
- Provide refurbish and repair services for Ben E. Keith Chemical and Beverage equipment.
- Other projects as assigned.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide refurbish and repair services for Ben E. Keith chemical and beverage equipment.
. Record maintenance records for repair work done on equipment.
- Maintain and organize stocks of parts used to maintain and repair equipment.
- Survey and manage ongoing list of related equipment for new account openings or conversion of existing accounts.
- Perform duties by following the company’s safety standards and wearing the proper safety equipment.
- Assist as needed in sales meetings, food shows and presentations, supporting the sales operations team.
- Other projects as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience
The following are education and experience requirements for the Equipment Refurb Specialist:
High School diploma or GED
- Two plus years of installation and/or service repair of commercial beverage and chemical equipment experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license is required, good driving record is required.
- Must pass background check and drug screen.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Listed below are skills and attributes that will promote successful job performance as an Equipment Refurb Specialist:
- Ability to use hands, and extend arms as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl as needed to work on equipment.
- Ability to climb and balance as needed.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. frequently, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 90 lbs
