The Truck Hostler DOT shuttles empty and full trailers from company lots and the dock area for loading. This position additionally assists with other duties around the warehouse.
A Texas Class A CDL is required. Please complete the DOT application in its entirety to be considered.
Job Responsibilities:
• Operate all company equipment safely and in a manner consistent with company policy • Ensure company equipment is in safe, working condition; reports any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor • Project a friendly, professional image at all times • Prioritize multiple, competing priorities • Attend meetings as required
Job Qualifications:
• Position requires a Texas Class A CDL driver’s license with a clean MVR
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments • Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment • Must be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail • Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations • Must be able to read and write English • Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear • Must be 21 yrs. or older to apply • Ability to operate/drive single axle truck with 27 ft. trailer • Ability to work in various weather conditions • High school graduate or GED required
