Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing Project Management Office.  Candidates for this role will be responsible for leading complex technology projects across multiple domain areas. 

 

What You Will Do

  • Organize and lead project teams in a hybrid scrum/waterfall environment.  You will facilitate daily stand-ups, organize work, resolve issues, remove blockers, and deliver projects on-time, on-budget, and with high quality.
  • Establish project scope, objectives, priorities, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and definition of done.
  • Document and manage project activities including business requirements, stories, epics, use cases, and test plans.
  • Compile and report metrics to measure project progress and generate positive outcomes.
  • Manage project risks and issues; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
  • Assist with defining and championing ongoing process improvement initiatives supporting Project Management best practices, including scrum framework and waterfall best practices. 
  • Lead system selection initiatives including development of vendor Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
  • Engage, energize, mentor, and lead assigned project and product teams.

 

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience.
  • 5+ years of IT project management experience, managing multiple projects with varying levels of complexity.
  • Strong project management skills including a demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, organize, coordinate, manage, evaluate, and adjust resources, work effort, and cost for projects of high complexity and risk.
  • Business and technical acumen; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the team in a professional manner. 
  • Able to solve complex problems, manage ambiguity and adapt to unexpected change.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Highly proficient with project management tools such as Jira Software, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.
  • Large scale project (ERP, WMS, BI/Analytics platform or similar) experience preferred.
